Two Fabric Brands, Chosen for One Reason
The fabric is the part of your awning you look at every day, and the part the weather works on hardest. That is why we supply Staler and Sunbrella — two industry-leading brands — through Sunesta, as an official Sunesta distributor.
Every fabric we offer is woven from 100% solution-dyed synthetic acrylic fibers. The color goes into the fiber before it is woven rather than being printed onto the surface, which is what keeps a red awning red after years of Pennsylvania summers.
Choose from hundreds of options across six color families, in solids and a wide range of striped patterns. Whatever your house or storefront already looks like, there is a fabric here that works with it.

100% solution-dyed acrylic — color woven in, not printed on.

Six Color Families
Start with the family that fits your home, then narrow down to a solid or a stripe. These are the ranges we work in every day.

Brown
Chocolates, tans, and sand tones that sit quietly against brick, cedar, and warm-toned trim.

Green
Forest and sage greens, solids and stripes. A traditional choice that reads well against landscaping.

Blue
Navy through to lighter coastal blues, including classic awning stripes for porches and storefronts.

Red & Yellow
Deep reds, burgundies, golds, and creams — the range most businesses pull their brand colors from.

Solids, Stripes, and What They Do to a Building
A solid fabric keeps the awning quiet and lets the house do the talking. A stripe does the opposite — it draws the eye, which is exactly what you want above a storefront or a patio you are proud of.
Both come out of the same book, in the same acrylic, with the same fade resistance. The only question is what your building needs.
- ✓ Over 150 acrylic fabrics for retractable awnings, including The Sunesta.
- ✓ More than 190 colorfast acrylic fabrics for The Sunroll retractable patio screen.
- ✓ Solids and a wide range of striped patterns across all six color families.
- ✓ Every fabric supplied through Sunesta, from Staler and Sunbrella.
Why Acrylic, and Why These Two Brands
What solution-dyed acrylic does that cheaper awning fabric does not.
Weather Resistance
Built to take sun, wind, and rain season after season without breaking down or going brittle.
Moisture & Mildew
Resists moisture, mold, and mildew, so an awning that gets rained on dries out instead of staining.
Fade Resistance
Solution-dyed fibers hold their color under UV rays. The awning you pick is the color you keep.
10-Year Fabric Warranty
Fabric is covered for ten years under Sunesta’s warranty, alongside ten years on the motor and lifetime on the frame.

How to Pick the Right One
Fabric looks different on a two-inch swatch than it does stretched across twenty feet of your back wall. Here is how we keep you from finding that out the hard way.

Match the frame while you are at it
The Sunesta frame comes in white, clay, beige, black, and brown. The fabric and the frame get chosen together, not one after the other.
Your choice is on record
Sunesta’s SmartCode system gives your awning a unique identification number, so years later a replacement matches what you originally picked.
The Same Book, Across the Line
Whichever product you are shading with, the fabric selection starts in the same place.
Retractable Awnings

Why Choose Your Fabric With Us
We are a family-owned company in Allentown, and we have been fitting awnings to homes and businesses in eastern Pennsylvania for over 25 years. That is a lot of siding colors, a lot of brick, and a lot of fabric held up against both.
You will not be picking from a screen. You will be picking from the book, in your own driveway, with someone who has seen how these fabrics wear.
